When will stop passing the blame, stop.
The whole system as flaws in it. Plugging holes with cotton wool does last long.
First foremost, corruption, the envelop.
Then companies who have several names, apply for tenders, many know nothing about road construction.
Standard of work, the engineers who monitor the work, many turn back shut their eyes.
No training of personal in retaining roads, nor constructing new roads.
How many newly repaired or laid roads have pot hole withing weeks of completion?
Then you have both the DVLA and NRSA, also to blame.
What is required is a new Road Transport Authority, will govern all aspects of transport, including customs, insurance, Dvla, police, special traffic courts, design roads, vehicle spares, tyres, repairers, ect ect ….
Many avenues to be included.
Most importantly, not just named people or paper qualified people, advising rules, regs, law, ….
Need people with hands-on experience and knowledge governing it.
